The purpose of the screening is to observe students as they work with teachers and in small groups to determine the appropriate groupings necessary to serve each child.
Students will be invited to screen for approximately one hour with the Director of Tuttle School and a classroom teacher.
During this time the student will be asked to complete assignments based on the development of each child to determine the ability of the child to follow directions, complete academic tasks, and to work in small groups.
In addition, one of our speech pathologists may conduct a speech/language evaluation.
If needed, we will invite your child to visit the classroom for an extended period of time.
